Overview
Onin Staffing is seeking a Packaging Associate to join an established team. This role is ideal for candidates with prior packaging experience, especially in food production. The Packaging Associate will be responsible for handling finished products, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and may also be involved in production activities to support overall plant operations.
Mon–Tues: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Wed–Fri: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Occasional Saturday: 5:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Package dairy and food products according to company standards and production schedules
- Prepare, label, and palletize finished goods for shipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading/unloading and verifying inventory
- Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Support production processes as needed, including handling raw materials and monitoring line operations
- Work in a refrigerated environment while following safety and food handling protocols
- Perform basic data entry and maintain accurate production records
- Follow all workplace safety and food quality procedures
Skills and Experience
- Previous packaging experience required (food production experience preferred)
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations
- Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move product throughout the shift
