Die Casting - Process Technician

Set up, start up, and shut down die casting machines according to established production parameters and quality standards.
 Monitor and adjust process settings, including shot parameters, metal temperature, die temperature, spray cycles, and cooling times to ensure stable production.
 Troubleshoot and correct die casting machine, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
 Perform in-process inspections to verify part quality and ensure adherence to specifications.
 Work with engineering and maintenance teams to identify root causes of process issues and recommend improvements.
 Document process changes, machine settings, and production performance data accurately.
 Participate in new die sampling, process development, and validation activities.
 Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiency.
 Train operators and other team members on proper machine operation, safety procedures, and standard work.
 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety and environmental regulations.
 Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on tasks for extended periods.
 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
 Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, molten metal, noise, and moving machinery.
