Overview
Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack) to move, load, unload, and stage products.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Accurately pick, pack, scan, and prepare orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack.
Follow warehouse safety rules, OSHA guidelines, and company procedures.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and product labeling.
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanners to record product movement.
Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, leads, and supervisors to meet production goals.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to complete company-provided training.
- 1–3 years of experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer/scanning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Experience with reach trucks, order pickers, or clamp trucks.
- Knowledge of warehouse KPIs, inventory processes, and shipping/receiving operations.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, or 3PL environments.
