Overview

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Management & Reporting
• Maintain all accounting records in QuickBooks for all companies.
• Record sales, purchases, inventory movements, assemblies, receipts, and
adjustments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Reconcile bank, loan, credit card, AP, AR, and intercompany accounts.
2. Inventory & Cost Accounting
• Oversee inventory processes and documentation for receiving, RMA processing,
assemblies, and shipments.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper costing.
• Oversee cycle counts and annual inventory count.
3. Sales Cycle & Revenue Tracking
• Manage accounting for POS sales, shipped orders, and special-project accounts.
• Ensure timely invoicing and accurate revenue recognition.
• Maintain AR and assist with collections monitoring.
4. Tax Compliance & Coordination
• Prepare and organize documents for quarterly and annual tax filings.
• Coordinate with external CPA firms for tax returns.
• Maintain sales tax compliance and exemption certificates.
5. Sister Company Accounting
• Maintain accounting for sales, assemblies, and repairs.
• Track labor, materials, and warranty costs.
Properties:
• Maintain simple accounting for rental income, expenses, and loan payments.
• Prepare periodic financial summaries.
6. Internal Controls & Compliance
• Maintain accounting policies and enforce financial controls.
• Improve processes in purchasing, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Support software and POS/ERP enhancements.
7. Cross-Department Coordination
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams.
• Provide financial updates to the CFO.
• Train staff in proper documentation and accounting procedures.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support budgeting and forecasting as needed.
• Assist with audits or financial reviews.
• Maintain professionalism with customers, vendors, and employees.
