Overview

We are seeking an experienced TIG Fabrication Plant Manager to oversee daily operations of a local fabrication facility. This role will be responsible for driving productivity, ensuring safety and compliance, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
$70,000/year

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate daily operations of the TIG fabrication plant.
Supervise and support all staff members, ensuring high performance and workflow efficiency.
Develop and implement processes that boost productivity and quality output.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in the hiring process—screening, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
Provide training, coaching, and educational materials to staff as needed.
Monitor plant equipment, ensuring it remains in proper working condition.
Perform or oversee TIG welding repairs and fabrication-related tasks when required.
Troubleshoot operational challenges and conduct root-cause analyses to prevent issues.
Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, and maintenance schedules.

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

Proven experience in plant operations or manufacturing management.
Hands-on TIG welding experience is required.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes, safety requirements, and plant procedures.
Ability to diagnose operational issues and implement effective solutions.
