Press Brake Operator (Setup-Level)

Overview

We’re seeking a reliable Press Brake Operator to support daily metal-forming operations on our fabrication line. This role is ideal for someone who can handle setup, tooling adjustments, blueprint reading, and precision bending while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

If you have hands-on experience with press brake forming, sheet metal fabrication, or machine setup, this opportunity offers stable hours and a supportive, team-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheet and plate.

  • Select proper tooling and dies for each job and align materials accurately.

  • Adjust machine settings including speed, stroke, back gauge, and angles.

  • Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications.

  • Monitor production runs and perform in-process quality checks.

  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.

  • Troubleshoot minor setup issues and make adjustments to maintain quality.

  • Perform basic routine maintenance and follow all safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience operating or setting up a press brake in a metal fabrication environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

  • Competency using precision measurement tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe, consistent production.

  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

If you have strong fabrication skills but limited brake-press setup experience, training is available.
