This will be a 1st shift position: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm at our client in Hazelwood, MO.
Job Duties:
*Loading/unloading trailer (manually & by forklift)
*Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipping documents are correct following the shipping and receiving procedures
*Receive product and place in proper warehouse location
*Moving material in a safe manner avoiding damage of customer product
*Ensuring production line has the correct material when delivering untreated product to be loaded into processing containers for treatment
*Backing up the material handler and assisting the bottle packers when needed
*Follow all housekeeping protocols and keep the dock area clear
*Physically able to manually log stack drums on shipping trailers
*Ability and certification to drive a forklift
*Required to follow all safety, environmental and quality programs
*Required to follow all company policies and procedures
*Any other jobs/tasks assigned by Supervisor
*Required to utilize Open Dock software to manage shipping/receiving activities
*Assign trailers to bay doors for deliveries/pickups
Skills and Experience
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
*Must be able to read shipping documents
*Must be able to visually inspect customer supplied product
*Must be able to maintain awareness of inventory in pland and communicate that to the Plant Manager
*Must be CVI trained and able to ship/receive Hazardous Materials
