What you'll do as: Engineering Technician
- Perform engineering tests, checkouts, and troubleshooting on hardware/software.
- Diagnose and isolate issues down to the component level.
- Set up and conduct tests on units and components to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Collect data, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Assemble, modify, or fabricate mechanical components or test setups.
- Maintain equipment, documentation, and software to current revision levels.
- Support engineers with development, design, and test activities.
- Record test procedures, results, and technical documentation.
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Might:
- Associate’s degree, military training, or equivalent technical/vocational experience.
- Typically 2+ years of related engineering or technical experience.
- Basic understanding of engineering processes, tools, and test equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around mechanical/electrical equipment.
