The Scale Clerk is responsible for operating the truck scale to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles, maintaining precise records, handling payments, and providing administrative support. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a scale house, administrative role, or customer service environment preferred.
Basic accounting or cash-handling experience required.
Ability to operate computer systems, scales, and office equipment.
Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle a steady flow of truck traffic.
