We are hiring sit down propane forklift drivers for our client in Hazelwood, MO.
1st shift: 7:00 - 3:30pm $17.50/hour
3rd shift 11:00pm - 7:30am $20.50/hour
Job Duties:
*Loading/unloading of trailer (manually & by forklift) if needed
*Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipping documents are correct following the shipping and receiving procedures
*Receive product and place in proper warehouse location
*Perform daily forklift inspections and fill out inspection form
*Moving material in a safe manner avoiding damage of customer product
*Ensuring production has the correct material when delivering untreated product to be loaded into processing containers for treatment
*Backing up the shipping/receiver and assisting bottle packers when needed
*Follow all housekeeping protocols
*Physically able to manually log stack drums on shipping containers
*Ability and certification to drive a forklift
*Required to follow all safety, environmental and quality programs
*Required to follow all company policies and procedures
*Other duties as assigned by Management/Shift Operator
*Required to document and report all non-conformances immediately
Skills and Experience
*High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years job related experience and/or training preferred
*Must have good, safe forklift skills
*Must be able to speak, read, write, count, understand and follow directions in English
*1 to 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience in Lead or Supervisory role preferred
*Must have good documentation and organizational skills
*Computer literate preferred
*Must be able to pass CVI training
*Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
