Are you a Night Owl with warehouse picker/packer experience?
Ōnin Staffing has the perfect opportunity for you! We’re currently hiring Overnight Picker Packers for a drug distribution center in Durham.
- Sunday: 4:30 PM until work is finished (typically around 3:00 AM)
- Monday–Thursday: 6:30 PM until work is finished (typically around 3:00 AM)
- $16.00/hour
As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders and supporting warehouse operations.
- Pick full case orders according to customer specifications and wave assignments
- Ensure orders are picked accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner
- Separate printed orders by wave assignment for proper processing
- Operate motorized warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, cherry picker, etc.) safely and effectively
- Charge and maintain warehouse equipment after use
- Assist with receiving duties as needed
- Maintain reliable attendance in accordance with company policy
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Qualities:
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
- Coachable and eager to learn new skills
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience preferred
- Ability to separate printed orders by wave assignment
- Skilled in operating motorized warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, cherry picker, etc.)
- Responsible for proper charging and care of warehouse equipment after use
Background Requirement:
- Must have a clean background (only minor traffic violations allowed)
