Do you have experience operating machines and want a career with stability? Onin Staffing has an exciting 1st Shift Winding Machine Operator opportunity in Creedmoor with a client that manufactures and assembles utility crew trucks.

Monday – Friday 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Saturday's could be voluntary or mandator based on production needs
$22.00/hour

What You’ll Do:
As a Winding Machine Operator, you will:

Set up, operate, and monitor fiberglass winding machines.
Tend multiple winding units to wind fiberglass strands onto steel mandrels.
Supervise and adjust machine operations for quality and efficiency.
Perform cleaning and maintenance on machine parts (wet baths, valves, hoses).
Input information into the computer system for accurate production tracking.
Operate machines that twist fiberglass strands to improve strength and uniformity.

This role is ideal for candidates with prior machine operating experience who want to build a long-term career in a growing industry.

Skills and Experience

As a skilled Machine Operator, you should:

Have basic computer skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Be able to use a variety of measuring tools accurately.
Possess strong math skills, including working with fractions.
Be comfortable working with fiberglass materials.
Have prior experience setting up, running, or operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
Hold a high school diploma or GED (required and will be verified by a third party).
