Overview
Responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining smooth daily restaurant operations. Duties include greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring cleanliness and organization of dining and work areas, and assisting kitchen staff as needed. Restaurant staff may also handle cash transactions, prepare simple food or drinks, and restock supplies to support overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to kitchen staff
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and utensils
- Handle cash, credit card, and POS transactions accurately
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and packaging (if applicable)
- Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer experience
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Address customer inquiries or complaints professionally
