Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with sheet metal, preferably in the aircraft industry, and be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, fit, bend, roll, and rivet sheet metal parts and assemblies.
- Perform development work from blueprints and mylars.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Operate equipment such as power brakes, rollers, and other sheet metal tools.
- Identify and solve problems related to fabrication or fitting.
- Inspect completed parts to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sheet metal experience (aircraft industry preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mylars.
- Skilled in fitting, bending, rolling, and riveting sheet metal.
- Experience using power brake and working with aircraft alloys.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must provide own tools.
