Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fiberglass Craftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with fiberglass or carbon fiber materials to produce, repair, and assemble composite parts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fiberglass layups, freehand repairs, and part assembly.
- Cut, grind, and fit composite materials using hand and power tools.
- Mix and apply resins, hardeners, and other composite materials.
- Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and finish.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with fiberglass or carbon fiber cloth and compatible resins/hardeners (required).
- Skilled in wet layups and freehand fiberglass repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools for cutting, grinding, and fitting composite parts.
- Aviation experience preferred, but candidates with automotive, marine, or manufacturing backgrounds will be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
