What You'll Do as a Crate Builder :
- Build large wooden crates and pallets using lumber that you've pre-cut
- Read blueprints and use measuring tools to assemble materials accurately
- Drill holes, fasten plywood/wood, and build according to work instructions
- Use hand and air tools, including nail guns, screwdrivers, and hammers
- Wrap, pack, and prep products for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Keep supplies stocked and materials ready
- Assist with other duties as needed
Skills and Experience
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- Previous experience in carpentry, woodworking, or basic woodshop skills
- Ability to read a measuring tape and blueprints
- Experience with nail guns, hand tools, and basic power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, reaching, etc.)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Teamwork mindset with the ability to work independently
