Overview
1st Shift Supervisor Kitting/Production and Co-Packing
Pay: 22.00 to 24.00/hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
(Fridays may be required based on production needs.)
Job Purpose:
The 1st Shift Supervisor will oversee daily kitting and co-packing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and team development. This role is essential for coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the 1st shift operations.
Requirements:
2 years of experience in kitting/production.
Experience with Nulogy Pack Manager.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Strong knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and scheduling.
Proven leadership and communication skills.
3?5 years of work experience in manufacturing or distribution (preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
Supervise kitting processes from start to finish, ensuring materials are picked and assembled accurately.
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and production schedules.
Monitor production metrics (output, efficiency, quality) and take corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with planning, logistics, and inventory teams to meet production demand.
Conduct audits and inspections, resolving non-conformances with QA.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and foster team development.
Provide regular performance updates and manage escalations.
