Overview
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build shipping crates according to product specification
• Utilize common manual and power tools
• Measure and cut wood, foam and harnesses
• Operate a forklift
• Scrap unusable inventory
• Perform some preventative building maintenance that does not require a licensed professional
• Manages small projects without supervision
• Effectively communicate with coworkers and vendors
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Supervisor
Skills and Experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Able to demonstrate carpentry skills
• Able to perform basic building maintenance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, arms and legs
• Near vision
• Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or an Equivalent
• Forklift certified
• Proficient in the English language
• Occasional overtime
