Overview

Duties and responsibilities are as follows: 

  • Perform a wide variety of day-to-day clerical and office duties
  • Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls to on-site staff 
  • Trained to perform backup duties for Sales invoicing, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure continuity of operations during staff absences or peak workload
  • Prepare professional correspondence, Freight agreements, call and set appointments for shipments and other documents for General Manager and Sales Staff
  • Daily & monthly reports 
  • Expense reports for the General Manager, Plant Manager and Sales Staff
  • Performing other projects and duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

Required Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Relevant office experience required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required
