What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 480V/3-phase power, control panels, relays, PLCs, and VFDs
- Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, IR thermometers, etc.) to locate and fix faults
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Perform equipment installations, alignments, and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve performance
- Record maintenance activities in CMMS and perform root cause analysis on breakdowns
Skills and Experience
What You Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High School Diploma or GED (Technical Certification or Associate Degree preferred)
- 8–10 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
- Proven skills in electrical troubleshooting and PLC programming
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with LOTO, OSHA, and NFPA 70E safety procedures
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, and work in tight spaces
