Overview
The Ōnin Group is looking for an experienced Millwright to join a trusted machine shop in Fairfield, AL.
Position Details:
- 📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 💵 Starting Pay: $22/hr (higher pay based on experience)
- 🛠️ Minimum Experience: 5+ years as a Millwright
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery and mechanical equipment
- Perform precision work with tools and equipment in a machine shop environment
- Ensure proper alignment, assembly, and functionality of machines
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a skilled team
Skills and Experience
Work Experience:
- At least 5 years of Millwright experience (machine shop background preferred)
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality craftsmanship
