Overview

SUMMARY:

The packaging operator is responsible for the packaging production equipment to run efficiently by setting up, operating, and adjusting the equipment to maximize production while maintaining the product quality. The packaging operator sets up the equipment to maximize performance, performs routine maintenance, and reports all information requested pertaining to safety, quality, and productivity.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Always follow all Company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Follows all packaging operations standard operating procedures.
  • Operates all packaging production equipment including cup unloader, cup labeling, tray erection and lidding system, and palletizing system,
  • Responsible for ensuring all areas are cleaned (equipment, machines, tools, floors, drains and any other areas you may be asked to clean).
  • Supports established GMP’s, SQF, HACCP, and housekeeping standards for all work areas.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience working in a factory or production environment is a plus
  • Experience working around packaging and conveying systems is a plus
