Overview
Onin Staffing is currently recruiting experience machine operators for a client located in Louisburg that manufactures foam products. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining stand-alone machines to support the production of manufactured goods.
- 1st shift 6am-6pm
- 2nd shift 6pm-6am (10% shift differential)
- Every other weekend
- $16.00/hour + any overtime worked
This role requires a strong understanding of standard operating procedures, quality assurance standards, and machine operation. The operator must demonstrate attention to detail, follow safety protocols, and work collaboratively within a team under general supervision.
- Operate first and secondary foaming presses and all related machine functions.
- Read and apply the metric system effectively.
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Perform quality checks and identify basic nonconforming products according to customer specifications.
- Apply product labels accurately to identify finished goods.
