Overview
Responsible for selecting and preparing customer orders from warehouse racks, operating an electric pallet jack and forklift to move products to the loading dock. Wrapped, labeled, and staged pallets for shipment while following safety and quality standards. Worked efficiently in cooler and freezer environments and supported team operations as needed.
Skills and Experience
Responsibilities:
-Accurately fill customer orders by selecting cases and containers of food and non-food products from multi-level rack warehouse systems.
-Safely operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to move completed orders to the loading dock staging area.
-Prepare pallets for shipment by wrapping, labeling, and staging orders in a timely and organized manner.
-Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure product quality and maintain an efficient workflow throughout the production process.
-Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet departmental and organizational goals.
-Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall company operations.
-Be prepared to work in various temperature environments, including cooler and freezer areas.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Order Selector operating an electric pallet jack and forklift with at least one employer.
-Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely and efficiently.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and productivity.
