What You'll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist:
- You’ll help keep the flow of materials moving smoothly every day.
- Receiving inbound freight: unloading trucks, inspecting materials, and verifying items against packing lists or BOLs
- Staging, sorting, and moving materials to the correct warehouse locations
- Preparing outbound shipments: picking orders, packing, labeling, and loading trucks
- Operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Scanning, tracking, and updating inventory in the warehouse system
- Reporting damaged or missing items and maintaining accurate documentation
- Supporting cycle counts and inventory checks
- Keeping your workspace safe, organized, and clean
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Experience operating material handling equipment (certification is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy
- Basic computer skills for inventory data entry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- A team-focused mindset and willingness to learn new skills
