Overview
Must be flexible to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift as needed (cover PTO, vacations, or low volume in 2nd shift).
Job Purpose:
The 2nd Shift Supervisor will oversee daily kitting and co-packing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality standards, and team development. This role is key in coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitting processes from start to finish, ensuring materials are picked and assembled accurately.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and production schedules.
- Monitor production metrics (output, efficiency, quality) and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with planning, logistics, and inventory teams to meet production demand.
- Conduct audits and inspections, resolving non-conformances with QA.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and foster team development.
- Provide regular performance updates and manage escalations.
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in kitting/production.
- Experience with Nulogy Pack Manager.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and scheduling.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- 3–5 years of work experience in manufacturing or distribution (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
