What You'll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Associate / Forklift Operator:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials, including fabric rolls, finished goods, and supplies.
- Transport materials to and from production lines, warehousing, and shipping/receiving areas.
- Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance (e.g., battery charging).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and organization as needed.
Skills and Experience
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- 1+ years of experience operating a forklift
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, with experience using various software programs and RF barcode scanning technology
- Capable of working both on and off forklifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and thriving in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
