Overview
The Ōnin Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team! This role supports accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency across key accounting areas, including transfer pricing, vehicle cost management, inventory, fixed assets, accounts receivable, and month-end closing. Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Assist with audits, providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Monitor inventory, vehicle costs, and fixed assets to ensure proper reporting and valuation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with credit risk assessments and collections.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting functions.
- Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Ability to assess journal entries, balances, and variances for accuracy and reasonableness.
- Knowledge of IFRS and internal control standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP and Project Management experience a plus.
