What You’ll Do as an Assemblers:
- View, study, and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, or sketches.
- Listen to verbal instructions from designated trainer or team lead.
- Review parts lists and verify all necessary components are present.
- Obtain correct parts for each work step by referencing documentation and cross-checking part numbers.
- Gather and prepare required tools, materials, and subassemblies for production.
- Position and stage parts, tools, and subassemblies for efficient workflow.
- Assemble components based on drawings, engineering specifications, and standard work procedures.
- Take accurate measurements and verify that assemblies meet required specifications.
- Inspect parts for defects; clean, adjust, or replace as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools (screwdrivers, torque wrenches, mallets, socket wrenches, etc.).
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.
- Previous experience working a in a production or assembly role preferred
- Mechanical aptitude beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics very helpful.
- Ability to cross reference part numbers.
- Ability to follow oral and written policies, procedures and instructions.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity while achieving quality
- Workmanship to achieve established metrics. Interpersonal skills required to work in a team environment.
