Overview
                            We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and safety-focused Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee daily operations on our 1st Shift at our processing facility in Duncan, SC. The Team Lead is the critical link between management and the production floor. You will be responsible for the safety, quality, and efficiency of your assigned shift team and production line.

What You’ll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Lead:
- Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate a team of shipping and receiving personnel and material handlers.
- Schedule daily shift tasks and assign duties to team members to ensure all operational goals are met.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and participate in disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Coordinate the loading of finished goods (e.g., plastic or metals) onto trucks according to established routes, weights, and customer specifications.
- Inspect loaded trailers for proper weight distribution, load security, and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Oversee the safe and efficient offloading of incoming materials (e.g., loose or baled materials from residential, commercial, and industrial sources).
- Conduct initial visual inspection and basic quality control checks on incoming material to verify type and detect contamination, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Manage the inventory of incoming raw materials and coordinate their staging and movement to the processing area.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately, filed, and submitted to the administrative office in a timely manner.
- Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections on all MHE (Material Handling Equipment), including forklifts, and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure the shipping/receiving docks, staging areas, and material storage yard are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
                                    Skills and Experience
                                    - Previous Team Lead or Supervisor experience required. 
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, support, and motivate a team.
- Experience operating or overseeing machinery in a production or warehouse environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with both team members and management.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
