What you'll do as a Cherry Picker Operator:
- Operate machinery: Safely operate a cherry picker to move materials, retrieve products, and lift personnel to elevated positions.
- Fulfill orders: Pick, pack, and stage customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Stock inventory: Stock shelves and restock materials.
- Inventory management: Use RF scanners and other systems to keep track of inventory, process shipments, and maintain accurate records.
- Loading and unloading: Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and other vehicles.
- Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the equipment and report any issues or needed repairs.
Skills and Experience
- Experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment, such as a forklift or other powered industrial vehicle.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, safety procedures (like OSHA guidelines), and inventory control systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math and computer skills.
