Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Client's team in Baton Rouge. This position plays a key role in supporting outside sales, proposal development, and customer service by managing the quoting, ordering, shipping, and invoicing process for automation systems and related services.

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, quotes, and change orders using the company’s ERP system.
- Coordinate shipping, invoicing, and order tracking to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent support and follow-through.
- Manage warranty and emergency part replacement requests through resolution.
- Assist with proposal requests and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation of all orders and transactions.
- Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Experience in order entry, inside sales, or customer service
- Familiarity with accounting processes or ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar)

Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday – Friday, standard business hours (40 hours per week)
- On-site position — not eligible for remote work
- Occasional overtime may be required during busy periods (e.g., end-of-month invoicing)
