Competitive Pay: $90K - $110K/Salary
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM (will need to be flexible)

What You’ll Do as a Tool Design Engineer:
- Responsible for blueprint revisions and keep documentation current.
- Drive key engineering projects related to design development and manufacturing process improvements.
- Be the key link - coordination with Engineering, Tool and Die shop and Production floor.
- Designs or redesigns tooling (jigs, dies and fixtures) to drive peak performance.
- Keep accurate records of all tooling, (jig, dies and fixture), changes.
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness all tool, jig, die and fixture drawings.
- Prepares CAD models and drawings.
- Keep the physical drawing library organized.
- Maintains the digital file system - drawing files in electronic form.
- Control the distribution of official prints, ensuring all parties use the correct, signed documentation.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional personnel, from senior management to the tool room floor.
- Pursue continuous learning to stay current with the newest Tool & Die design and metal stamping technologies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Actively participate in essential planning and review meetings.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and internal training.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- Travels as required.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 5 years minimum experience in metal stamping tool design includes progressive, transfer and/or draw dies.
- Proficient in 3D AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent experience performing the role.
- 3-5 Years’ Experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Knowledge in automation tool designs a plus.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good oral and written communication.
Physical Demands
- Hands on which includes periodically bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, moving and lifting heavy objects
- Stand, walk or sit for the full length of shift per day.
- May lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Team Player.
- Must work with minimal supervision. (Independent worker).
- State approved Journeymen Tool and Die Maker a plus.
