What You’ll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to load, unload, store, and pick materials.
- Receive and verify shipments, ensuring part numbers and quantities match invoices or shipping guides.
- Document shipments and update systems (SAP) for inventory and payment processing.
- Label, sort, and store materials efficiently by business unit and type.
- Pick components for production or customer orders and receive finished goods from manufacturing.
- Lift and move boxes as needed to support operations.
- Perform additional duties as required to maintain workflow.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 Years experience with shipping, receiving, and warehouse procedures
- 1-2 years of safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment, including Stand up/Sit-down Forklifts
- Ability to verify shipments and maintain accurate inventory
- Familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., SAP) and scanners
- Ability to lift and move materials
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to sort, label, and store materials efficiently
