What You’ll Do as an Assistant Plant Manager
- Lead daily production operations to meet quality, safety, and performance goals.
- Partner with supervisors and floor leaders to manage workflow and ensure schedules are met.
- Coach, train, and support your team—fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Troubleshoot production and mechanical issues as they arise.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Roll up your sleeves and jump in to help when needed—this is a hands-on leadership role!
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or furniture manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
- A lead-by-example mindset—someone who’s not afraid to step onto the floor to guide and support their team.
- Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment with occasional lifting (up to 80 lbs).
- Willingness to occasionally work extended hours or Saturdays as needed.
