What You'll Do as an Assembler:
- Soldering and assembly of small components using microscopes, fixtures, and precision hand tools
- Inspect products meticulously, ensuring they meet strict quality standards.
- Measure components using calipers, gauges, and other devices to ensure accuracy
- Read blueprints and perform soldering as required
- Complete all necessary production documentation for traceability
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Collaborate as a team to achieve daily production goals.
- Follow all Safety, Quality, and EH&S procedures
Skills and Experience
We’re seeking candidates who bring a mix of skills, experience, and a can-do attitude! To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Soldering and assembly skills
- Proficiency in reading and understanding written instructions in English
- Basic computer and communication skills
- Experience using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain stationary for up to 75% of the workday
- Ability to operate machinery and move between work zones
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred:
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Soldering experience is required for some departments
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn
