Overview
We're looking to hire a Fabricator on 1st shift for an electrical components manufacturer in Pflugerville, TX. Hours are 7a-3:30p with a pay rate of $19/hr. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, occasional overtime may be needed.
Primary function is responsible for manufacturing of traffic control components.
Skills and Experience
- Must be able to read engineering / specification drawings to obtain information regarding the fabricating of components.
- Set-up and operate fabricating machinery, such as turret punch press, manual & robotic brake press, CNC Mill and CNC Lathe, or other similar fabrication equipment
- Certified to shop standards in at least two of the following pieces of equipment; punch press, brake press, robot welder, mill, and lathe.
- Verify conformance of parts to specifications, using precision measuring equipment.
- Conducts oneself professionally through appearance and conduct.
- Responds to work orders in a timely manner with emphasis on operation accuracy & support.
- Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
